The restaurant is run jointly by Maynard’s Farm, an award-winning family business famous for its home-cured bacon, and Root Food, a local family business that uses locally sourced produce to create sweet and savoury artisan food and home cooked classics.

Refuel & revitalise

The menu takes inspiration from the seasons and offers hearty soups, buttery quiches and fresh sandwiches.

Our homemade cakes are hard to forget, ranging from simple tray bakes to indulgent classics with a contemporary twist.

There is no need to book for individuals and small groups. Well-behaved dogs and wellington boots are welcome.
